What we do
At KN Somatics (The Somatics Studio), We offer a variety of therapeutic massage, private and semi- private yoga, mobility, and balance training, as well as instruction in meditation and breath-work.
Our philosophy is simple and real: Movement should feel empowering, safe, and freeing. We focus on neuro-health + flexibility, using your brain’s natural tools to create a clearer body map for easier, more coordinated, balanced, and pain-free movement.
Central to this is interoception - your inner sense of bodily signals (breath, tension, energy shifts). Through practical neuro-drills, yoga-inspired practices, and hands-on bodywork, we strengthen this connection to deliver real wins:
• Enhance brain capacity through vestibular balance, proprioception, and cranial nerve hacks for less muscular and joint stiffness, sharper focus, and increased inner awareness over time
• Improve nervous system resilience by releasing bodily and mental tension through our various practices, all geared towards supporting over-all stress reduction. A healthy nervous system is able to experience stress, and then easily move back into a relaxed state, vs always “feeling fried” or “on”
• Unlock functional flexibility via neural permission— we train the brain to feel safe to allow freer ranges of motion during daily life
